"The property was really well located, checkin quite early, with no problem from there side. The room was really clean, bed was good, bathroom had everything and loved the shower. Tom was really helpful, informative, gave us a bit of history of the building, which was fascinating. Included Breakfast was simple, but very good, and you could have ordered from the kitchen at an extra cost. Will definitely recommend."

"We liked that the hotel was right in the heart of town and that there was a lot of energy and activity around. The restaurant was only fair in so far as the food goes. The service was haphazard in the restaurant and there was no one to greet you. The room was okay , but it was cold when we were there and the heat did not work. We had constant air conditioning blowing on us. The front desk was sympathetic to the problem, but was unable to fix the issue. By the second night , the front desk person...

"I booked a room because it was reasonably priced. And there was no availability in my price range in Stratford upon Avon or Lemington Spa or Warwick. The town is tricky if you are using public transportation. As the buses cut off leaving Stratford upon Avon very early in the evening. So if you want to get back to alcester you would have to take a taxi beyond that point. Buses when I was there in early July only run once an hour. The pub seems like a nice place. But that's not why I was there....

"We loved the hotel itself as it was smart, comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good, but we didn't like the fact that the staff cleared away everything on the stroke of 10. We were disappointed that we had to pay £11.50 for parking at the hotel as this had not been made clear when we made the booking. w"

"Stopped here for a few nights as we had a wedding to attend. All was good though I am a light sleeper and did have trouble due to a low pitched hum that persisted through the night. As we weren't staying long we didn't ask to move to a quieter room. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest you make it clear when you book that you need somewhere quiet. The food was good and reasonably priced and the bar prices were not as steep as some we have encountered in other hotels."
