"Air conditioning was top notch especially since it was soooo hot out there. Room was super clean and while we were out they kept up with the cleanliness. Also I asked for a queen bed since I had my little with me but I don’t think it was bc it was actually really small /: but other than that it was the best stay I had in a motel since forever!"

"Realize that for $300+ in high season you are getting Holiday Inn quality rooms in a time share type complex on a very busy street. But there aren’t many better options and it is in the heart of the village."

"This is a great place to stay. Across the street from the beach and steps away from Carlsbad Village. The rooms are huge with a nice living area, a dressing area, a big master bedroom and a nicely appointed bathroom. The staff is wonderful. They even let you park your car there for two hours after checkout so you can do some last minute shopping! Can't wait to go back."

"Hotel is in a nice central spot to visit Carlsbad and the surrounding areas. The AC could work better, but it did its job. I enjoyed my stay here, I had no real issues. I would recommend to anyone traveling to this area of the west coast."

"Excellent location across the street from the beach with partial ocean view from the front deck. The property felt clean and had lots of stuff to use in the kitchen which made meals easy. Staff was super communicative and easy to reach for any questions. The backyard was beautiful and well mantained, felt like a tropical hideaway."
