You could literally see the hallway through that gap. Not very safe in my opinion considering the common area door was wide open for anyone to walk in. "we've stayed here many a time bc of our Marriott membership, it's always nice, clean, conveniently located to the beach and eateries, staff is a hit or miss, the rooms are also, the beds typically comfortable. we do love their breakfast spread! and the staff for breakfast are usually the most welcoming and helpful."

"Fire alarm went off before 5:30 in the morning, but it was the lack of communication from the reception or any employees that was frustrating and scary. Do we evacuate, do we not? What do we do? Is it a false alarm? They didn’t know and were not communicating properly. Not even an apology later that morning or a discounted rate for the way they handled it. My kid is still scared that an alarm is going to go off while he’s sleeping."
