"I had never stayed at this hotel before, even though I've visited Carlsbad multiple times. The location was ideal for a quick trip. Upon arrival, I was told someone had been accidentally checked into my room. I was initially asked by front desk associate Gerald, to wait in lobby 15-20 min while he asked the other customers to move out of room. I asked about another room being available, but he said there was no other rooms similar to mine. Another male front desk associate( wish I had his name) heard about the dilemma and suggested I move into a bigger room, if I was only staying 1 night. He looked into other rooms, and before I knew it, I was moved in to a 3rd floor " Condo" with a balcony and partial ocean view. I greatly appreciated the prompt and courteous resolution from these 2 employees. I will definitely stay here again."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Motel 6 Carlsbad North. The rooms were very clean. The cleaning staff is very thorough when cleaning the rooms. Although this property allows pets, the rooms were so clean you would not have known a pet was ever there. The property is safe, quiet, and well-kept. I would definitely suggest this property to family and friends visiting the Carlsbad area."

"Was an an old resort/ condo complex ( upgraded). very clean and a convenient Mexican restaurant adjacent. attendance were friendly and helpful, staff was knowledgeable and very helpful as well. walking distance to the beach it was a nice balcony for breeze. We could hear the room to the walls in the evening, but they were quiet too.. Excellent location front desk a little hard to find."
