"The room was spotless, with a big bed and all amenities. Cleaning when requested was also excellent. The balcony was lovely, overlooking coconut trees, with space to dry clothes after a day at the beach. The real highlight of Choengmon Residence was the staff. They were friendly, thoughtful, and made the best pad thai on Koh Samui at the restaurant downstairs. The mango shakes and Thai tea were also delicious!"

The attention to detail immediately stood out to us. They brought us little goodies to try during our stay such as cookies, caramel, etc. Everything was beautifully designed and clean. Einen kleinen Minuspunkt gab es allerdings: Es fehlte etwas an Stauraum für unsere Kleidung. Das war natürlich schade, aber mit ein wenig Improvisation ließ sich auch das gut lösen. "We were disappointed overall, and do not feel this property lived up to the Ritz Carlton brand. It is a large property, well maintained, with spacious rooms, but we didn’t feel there was anything unique in the style of the buildings…..it didn’t feel like an authentic Thai experience. The lobby and restaurants are not air conditioned, and it was hot with lots of mosquitoes. The breakfast buffet was great, but our dinners were mediocre and we had to fight the bugs and could not enjoy our meals. ...
