"Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Willing to help as necessary. Everything was within walking distance. We only had 1 day that, for us was a washout. The jungle helps with any noise from other rooms. Highly recommend the night walk, especially for kids. The Puma trail offers a bit of nature if you slow down and look. There are other tours available also. Go with a guide, they will point out thing you will miss."

"Arrived in the afternoon and was upgraded from a room to a villa at no additional charge. Great location to relax and spend your nights in town, hammock was comfortable and internet was very fast. Could still do work on my laptop while in the rain forest, quite amazing. If I am to return to La Fortuna I will stay here again."

"La mansion is in a beautiful location, and has nice views of the lake. The swimming pool and hot tub (more of a warm-tub) were great. I also loved our bright yellow room with crazy tiles thoughout the bathroom. The restaurant was ok. I would recommend eating at one of the local sodas instead. Overall, a great spot if you have a car to explore the area(Including La Fortuna)"

The location is beautiful and surrounded by nature: one of our highlights was watching a family of toucans right in the tree near our accommodation. It made the whole experience feel very special and unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
