Casa Mexicana Cozumel
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Spacious room, good shower, nice staff. Breakfast just so-so."

Hotel B Cozumel
10/10 Excellent
"We stay in a different property each time we go to Cozumel. This was our tenth trip. Hotel B was the best so far! Service made the difference. Staff were consistently the best. Reception spoke excellent American and were proactive in their service. My passport dropped out in the shuttle on the way there. I panicked, because I didn’t remember the company name. The bell person not only remembered the company, but also the driver. To make a long story short, the bell person summoned a taxi, explained in Mexican the situation to the driver, gave him instructions. The bell person then explained what the taxi driver should do and what we should do. Passport found; crisis averted. The room was very clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable once we figured out how to “cradle” our heads in the pillows, because they were too high for both my husband andI. There was a crack in the sink, but that didn’t affect function. Chairs in the room and desk were uncomfortable and rusted. They are in the process of updating, because other rooms we saw had newer chairs. Pools, restaurants, beach and views were wonderful. Get an ocean view to watch the sunsets!!!"

Melia Cozumel All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"This is our third year going to the Melia. The rooms are very accommodating. Shampoo, conditioner, and body washes provided. The staff are beyond wonderful. They greet you and always make sure you have what you need. There’s plenty of food nicely displayed in the main restaurant and the other two places service is amazing. The guys at the bar are always fun and make sure that whatever drink you want they can make it. Pool areas is always kept spotless. There’s some sort of entertainment nightly and although I don’t have kids, they have a kid activity room and space available for them to have fun outdoors as well. (playground, croquet, badminton, etc..). The Melia has now become our annual trip."

Cozumel Hotel & Resort - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"Hotel needs maintenance by the pool area. A lot of ties missing and pavers were replaced by cement patches. Pretty weak I thought. Stair areas were very dirty. Food wasn’t bad. Rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms."

Hotel Playa Azul Cozumel
10/10 Excellent
"Such a relief from the property we originally booked in town. The rooms were soundproof. Staff very nice and hotel was everything we wanted. Scuba with Chris is recommended!!! "

El Cozumeleño Beach Resort - All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"We have stayed there many times and this time was the worst. We arrived a day late because our flight was delayed due to weather. They would not give us credit for the night we lost. The front desk staff were not very friendly. The tv didn’t work and someone came to fix it only to tell us that they had no free tv. If we wanted to watch tv we had to have a subscription to streaming services. The food was horrible. They convinced us to make reservations for dinner in the restaurant inside that is only open now for dinner. We waited and went to our reservations only to be denied entry because my husband had dress shorts on and not long pants. When we told them he didn’t have any long pants with him they just said he couldn’t go in. We had to eat elsewhere. Food is very limited as to what you can order just at certain times. They advertise the swim up bar is now open when it was only open the day we arrived. We arrived the Friday and left the Tuesday and it was only open on the Friday The pool water was extremely cloudy. We only saw them clean the pool with a net to remove floating things in the water the whole time we were there. I sent the resort messages since Sept 4, 2025 and they never answered any of them. We even wanted to upgrade our room and we still didn’t receive an answer. They have only about 5 employees there that go out of their way to help you in any way they can. We usually go once a year there but this was our last trip staying there. All inclusive is a joke."
