They were so considerate and kind when we checked in and were very helpful rescheduling our next day train when our train was cancelled because of the strike. "For years now, when picking a hotel - I go with location rather than anything else. This one was a bit strange at first. I was in the single room and actually giggled when walked in. Definitely smaller than most rooms in most places I stayed, but hey - had everything for any traveler. I like to leave early and come back only to sleep. "The room was clean and modern and most of the staff were helpful. Somehow the pier of S Maria del Giglio were closed during my 2 day stay, it almost killed me us from dragging two 28 inches suitcases and 2 carry ons (coming from Australia for 1 month of Europe trip) all the way from the next closest pier…… and there was a national strike on the day of leaving, had to cross 4 bridges and dragged suitcases again for 1km to Rialto pier…it would have been nicer if I had been informed by the hotel...

But also short walk to Academia bridge & squares & good restaurants. We utilized the Allileguna upon departure to get us to airport & it was short 2 block walk. "
