"We received a very warm welcome from hosts Jackie and Rob and our stay was absolutely exceptional!
Our room was clean, neat, well appointed, with a refreshments tray including lovely homemade cake and the folder containing menus and directions for the nearby pubs for meals was well thought out and presented.
We slept well in a good firm bed and our room, with it's views over the garden, was very peaceful.

"The hotel was a bit dated. However it was clean and breakfast was adequate. The spa/ pool was average but clean.
The staff were not particularly helpful. A request for a late checkout was immediately met with a response £10 extra charge. When I asked for another towel at the pool, to replace the wet towel, this was denied. Small personal extras could have made this stay feel luxurious but instead it felt like a budget stay."

"Lovely hotel nice rooms and really comfy beds.
Breakfast was really tasty plenty of choice and really tasty. Evening meal was disappointing the lasagne overcooked and dry, the hunters chicken had been kept warm for so long the bbq sauce was congealed we waited an hour for our food to arrive. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again but would find somewhere else for our evening meal"

"Rude receptionist who barely acknowledged us on arrival, completely disinterested. The room was basic but clean and fine for our short stay of 1 night. The general noise levels are awful, no soundproofing in the walls and constant banging from an internal door along the corridor. There is no temperature control in the room and it was particularly hot weather which made our stay very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. Would not recommend to anyone and we are very easy going people"

"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a great selection.
A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. The lady at reception was also lovely and provided us with all the information we needed on arrival.
All the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. We would happily stay...

Breakfast was standard, and the on-site car park is a bit small (although there is overflow in the multi-story 100m away). The safe in my room didn't work, though. Overall, a pleasant trip."
