"Great views from the rooms. Great amenities (gym, pools, etc.). I already told local friends this should be the place they recommend to others who come to visit. Easy parking in the area (compared to other places) and easy to get around. Staff was also excellent - friendly and responsive. "

"Beautiful large room, excellent breakfast, excellent location, gréat comfort. The only discomfort was noise from the room next door through a connecting door, but at night this was easily solved by earplugs. "

One overlooked the pool and had a table and chairs but the other was a perfect spot for the New Year fireworks . I slept extremely well. "Excellent smallish and stylish hotel, boutique like but not pretentious. Very Helpful, friendly staff. Quiet street but 2 min walk into tourist spots. Rooms were good, gym is a bit tired, downstairs swimming is small but the spa, sauna and rooftop pool and sun area are really great. Excellent Fine dining in restaurant with very good breakfast. "Beautifully furnished boutique hotel with very helpful staff. Rooms are well maintained and kept clean. The hotel restaurant does some great menu items so worth a visit. Breakfast buffets are fine but probably not to everyone's tastes. Location is next to the cathedral so ideal for a city stay with a difference - Funchal is a super place to visit and we hit the Xmas illumination that is world famous."
