"Everything was just as described. We were in town for an event, and Becky at the Front Desk offered to get us on the available shuttle. The breakfast was grab-n-go, which was just fine as we had to scoot early. The room was extremely clean, the AC worked perfectly, the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. "The location of the Lake House Inn was great for visiting my husband's brother and his girlfriend. The room was attractively decorated, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the room reasonably clean (baseboards and walls are due a good wipe-down, though). TP dispenser was MUCH too far from the toilet and there was a faceplate for a control to a nonexistent heat lamp that hung loose from the wall. Maybe remove the faceplate and TP dispenser and plaster over those spots? DO NOT book through...

"Absolutely would not recommend this property. The pictures online show an outdoor and indoor pool area. The outdoor pool was not functional and large empty pool when you pull in. The security was my biggest concern. After checking in, I was told to enter through the back of building as that was closest to my assigned room. "The absolute worst. If I could give negative stars I would. We showed up and the place looked like it was about to be condemned. Then, we checked the room out and it was so damp and musty we refused it. Kindly, we were offered another room which was just as bad. We refused it as my wife has terrible allergies to mold and the like. We explained this to the property manager and he refused any sort of refund. "Location was great for spending the day at the Bananas Waterpark was able to walk to it. My daughter enjoyed the Waterpark was able to find a chair. Only negative thing was not being able to bring any outside food or drinks in. Had to pour out water in my cup."

"This is a great place to stay, staff was great. A little disappointed the restaurant was closed Tuesday and Wednesday but the pool was great and the area of the lake was pretty quiet. The cabin was nice, we will be back."
