The location for all amenities, the staff for their help in making our stay wonderful. The hotel itself, including the rooms, are to the highest standard and cleanliness. "The bar area was ok on entering our room it was cool and could smell damp ,some staff were helpful others were quite rude especially the older lady on reception when she barged into the dining area to shout at a member of staff In front of a busy breakfast sitting very very unprofessional and embarrassing for the young lady to be spoken to like that ."

"We regularly stay at this hotel when visiting Huddersfield. It is our favourite hotel in the area . The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room is always beautifully clean. The served hot breakfast is fantastic and freshly cooked as opposed to a buffet style. The hotel has a warm and friendly feel and we highly recommend it. A big thank you to all members of staff - you are what makes this hotel so special."

"Room 1 is extremely small, but was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. There were too few staff. Service at dinner and the bar was very slow. Dinner wasn't as hot as it should have been. There was too much food on a small plate, I had to hunt under the chicken for my vegetables! Overall, it's quite expensive for food that although was delicious it wasn't hot and not served in a timely manner."
