"Such a beautiful location, and close to most everything. It’s really nice having a grocery store across the street. Everyone I have had interactions with has been wonderful, they are friendly and very helpful. I visit Durango regularly and always stay here."

"It was convenient to Durango activities, Pool was good, hot tub was broken, work out room was a joke, faucet in room was about to fall off the sink, and whoever painted this place must have been drunk and painted it with a mop or broom. Not likely to go back to this place but it was all that was left over late."

"The General Palmer Hotel is a special historic hotel. Beautiful and comfortable in all areas. A few things that would make this hotel excellent would be in-room coffee, complimentary water bottles in room, and more or brighter lighting in the rooms. There was not a smart tv in the room but for us it was a minor issue. Beds were very comfortable and the decor matched the feel of the historic hotel. "

"Got to the Hotel room wasn’t ready when it said it was I was told I would get a call and never did. Went back 1.5 hours finally got to my room. No breakfast at this hotel have to pay 10 a day for breakfast and you have to pay for parking which is another 10 dollars a night not included in the rates of the room"

"There is no tv available at this hotel. The staff acts like it is the fault of the provider, but not surprisingly, no one ever came to work on the service. It would be better if they did not lie about the available amenities."

"Overall a great stay. Clean room, friendly staff, and convenient location. I had my small dog with me and the hotel felt pet friendly. Across the street from a nice walking path by the river. A bit disappointed that breakfast didn’t start until 7 as we were in town for a volleyball tournament and had to leave the hotel before then both days. I would stay here again"

"I’ve stayed at many hotels—some even more expensive—with both good and bad experiences. From the moment I saw the price, location, and rooms, I already liked this place. But what truly stood out was the service. We were arriving early from out of town, so we called to ask about early check-in, and they kindly accommodated us right away. I know that’s not always possible, but it made such a difference for us. The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming from start to finish. The room was very...
