"My friend and I booked a one night stay here in between cities. But initially we struggled to get a hold of reception. At first it looked fine but the floors were dirty, there was hair clogging the sink, and the tub was dirty as well. Also there were some kind of bugs in one of the beds because my friend was bit multiple times. Overall I would not stay again and I am disappointed with this overall experience"

"We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for seven nights and had an excellent experience. The room was cleaned to a very high standard every day without us ever needing to ask. Even on days when we stayed in the room later than usual, housekeeping made sure everything was spotless by the time we returned in the evening. The food was good. "Good hotel in a solid location in Sliema. Really easy to go to Valletta and a lot of restaurants around the area. Staff were always happy to help and very friendly throughout our stay. Only downside was the breakfast. The room was solid for the price, the air conditioning was great and there was enough space. Only downside of the room was there not being a safe. Overall, a great hotel!!"

"The hotel was excellent for location and amenities. The beach club was great for bathing and access for sea swimming. The roof top pool is worth a visit so book a sunbed as soon as you arrive. The bar was very good and staff great at drink making at both the hotel and beach club. Check in was speedy and staff on the desk were friendly and helpful. "the tv was broken the smell from the AC was awful - stale and unbearable, the sheets smelled really bad as well as the towels. The pool has rules but no one respects them, the sauna was not working even if the guy at the reception told us we can use it, the food at the rooftop is a disaster, one of the worst we had (greek platter), stains on the carpets everywhere, this is nowhere near 5 stars or luxury, more like 2 stars.
