"From the moment we drove up, we loved the style of the hotel, the location and the amenities it has to offer. Staff were very helpful, rooms clean and updated. Loved that the hotel was dog friendly, yet didn't see dogs all over if that's a turn off. Located near a really cute center called the Barnyard where you can literally walk across for dinner/coffee/shopping. 5 minutes to beach. Great spot you won't regret staying here."

"I was on the first floor, so the ocean was certainly not in view, and there were multiple houses in front of this house-like hotel so I doubt there was much of a view on the second floor. The water is very hot. The floors were heated even the toilet seat was heated. The whole experience was very luxurious and clean. "The first night Carmel was having a heat wave and the room was extremely hot. No AC in the room and only one of the wondows open. I know this is a rare situation but it would have been nice if they had fans in the rooms for days like this. Wouldn't be much of a cost for the Inn and definitely would hve made.the night more bearable. Weather was normal after that and we had a wonderful trip. I usually stay at the Normandy Inn when my wife and I visit Carmel which is a few times a year."

"A lovely boutique hotel within walking distance to downtown Carmel restaurants, shops, and art galleries. Our room was very comfortable. The staff are very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast is outstanding. Parking can be a bit challenging as there are not enough spaces for the number of rooms but the hotel does not charge for parking."
