"I like the hotel because it is old school. Room was clean and neat. Bed was comfortable. Everything in the bathroom worked just fine. It was nice having a coffee maker in the room. I even liked that they supplied a stack of magazines to read. St. Paul Grill has excellent food. Rug in our room was a bit threadbare and I wish they had self parking."

"great location, right by the train station that goes to the nfl stadium. the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. they have snacks and drinks at the front that are complimentary. the room is small but the perfect size. room includes a full size fridge, stove top, microwave. the room was modern and clean. you have to take out the trash on your own but it was fine because it is a big garbage bin. "

"We went for the night of the Morgan Wallen concert. We called to let them know we might not be able to get there by midnight, the show ended at 1140. They said they would make a note in our room reservation. However when we showed up the doors were locked and no one at the desk for 20 minutes and couldn’t get a hold of anyone by phone. Needless to say our neighbors were loud and we were told they were tight on rooms, we reserved months ago. We won’t be staying there for our next concert. ...

"The breakfast buffet was top notch, and staff worked hard to keep it stocked and fresh and the dining area tidy. The room was modern and well-appointed, and the beds very comfortable. Parking is in an enclosed ramp connected directly to the hotel--very secure. We didn't get a chance to take a swim or get a workout, but both spaces looked very well kept. "This is always my go-to hotel when staying in St. Paul. The hotel is always clean. The staff is friendly. They have a shuttle service if you’re going to concerts at Grand Casino Arena. It’s in a great location. The hotel is nice and quiet. The breakfast bar is always well stocked and has good food. I also enjoy that they have snack items for purchase at the front desk area. Overall, it’s my favorite hotel and I always enjoy my stay."

"The hotel was ok; the WiFi never worked, and the TV in the room would intermittently stop working. The elevator and room entry cards would randomly stop working, which was also very inconvenient. The room's climate control was also very hard to regulate. I have a travel clock that tracks temperature, and it was always 5-10 degrees warmer in the room than what I would set the thermostat on. "
