We stayed for just three days for a bit of pampering. We were in a luxury villa which was near the top of the hill. When we arrived we thought it was a bit isolated and miles from the facilities on the beach but the shuttle system is so good that we actually loved the privacy of our room, which was very well appointed and comfortable, and it took only a minute to call our butler Karen......who was there to deal with every request promptly and efficiently, and ask for a tut tut to take us down...

Staff are friendly. After seeing a few reviews about staff not being friendly I wasn’t going to go. But I spoke with 3 people who have been before and insured me that it was all rubbish. Excellent traditional caribbean hotel, perfect location across Marigot bay, cut off from the rest of the world but reachable by the regular free ferry. Nice studios around the hotel or even more tranquil, cottages and villas throughout the gardens. Could probably do with a little care and maintenance but the rooms are clean and the well tended gardens are beautiful. The excellent friendly staff in the hotel and in the restaurant make it a pleasure to stay here.
