All n all, if you're looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to stay and location is important so you can walk around the town and not have to drive, Hotel Nichols is the place to stay! "There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. "

"Honestly, I do not recommend it; it was completely filthy and covered in dust. There was hair in both the bathtub and the sink. The beds were dirty—the sheets were soiled and full of hair—and the coffee maker looked like it had never been washed. It bears absolutely no resemblance to the photos used to describe this place. Given the price I paid, I was in for a huge shock; it has absolutely nothing in common with a "suite.""

"The place is a total dump!!! All of the doors have key pad locks that barely work, the "Double Queen Suite" was basically 2 dorm rooms with no place to sit except outside! No Wi-fi. The place was freezing with only an ancient heater and a wall space heater. The tub had standing water in it for 3 hours after taking a quick shower. The place is dirty and run down. We wouldn't have felt safe staying there if it hadn't been in the middle of no where. Old folks seemed to like staying there for some...
