"We loved the beautiful house of the bed & breakfast- have never stayed in one before. Lake view and walkable to many shops and restaurants. We drove mostly due to the heat wave we had. Nice breakfast every morning. One day the owner was sick and we had to fend for ourself but she gave everybody a 50$ credit on our stay. We have not received yet, but just checked out. Overall the rooms were very nice and area quiet."

"We enjoyed our stay in the Magnolia room. The inn was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Lots of scenic outdoor space to relax and unwind. Location was convenient to shops, restaurants, and beaches. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable. We plan to stay here again the next time we are in the area."

"There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. "

"We were there from a Friday to Monday and did not get our roomed cleaned one time. Their policy is every other day and that is fine but on Sunday evening when we returned to our room from the day nothing had been done! No clean towels, no beds made, no new toiletries etc. Part of what you pay for and enjoy when you stay at a hotel is coming back to a clean room. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they were not helpful at all. They stated the cleaning staff was gone for the day and...

"The grounds definitely need some landscaping and upkeep done - not a great first impression on arrival. Seems to be operating on a very slim staff - takes a while to get someone on the phone. The room appeared clean and tended to. Breakfast was included by nothing looked very appetizing - the coffee was horrible. Overpriced if it were elsewhere, but for a place to sleep overnight during a couple days at the beach, it was adequate. Certainly wouldn't stay again here if I intended to spend...

"The room was small, but clean. The property is lovely with chickens roaming around, cats sunning and chief Tim picking fresh herbs to use for your homemade eggs and Belgian waffle breakfast. If we get a chance to come back I want to do the wine tasting and bonfire."

"This was an amazing experience!!! The dome was the cutest thing I’ve seen. The pictures don’t even do it justice!!!! The food was fantastic, I had crispy cheese & artichoke hearts. Delicious all around. Now let’s get to the superb staff, from the owner Missy to the bar with Lulu & Daneill and the ground keeper Carl everything was more than welcoming and accommodating. 10/10"

"Lack of communication with the front desk did it for me! During a power outage I’d typically like to know what’s going on considering I’m from out of town. Why they consider themselves a resort is beyond me. Research before booking"
