"On approach of the Portsmouth Inn budget hotel it did look a bit off putting by all the wiring and stuff by the door but, as I found out when you go inside everything is nice and clean. there is nobody there to welcome you. It is a self service keyless entry. when you get in contact with the actual property manager you’re given a card via A key holder lock which opens the front door and opened your room inside the room. "Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room. Good price. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. We did have a drink at the bar which was fairly reasonably priced for a hotel. This hotel offers very good value for money. "

"The room was clean and decor in good. It was air-conditioned but stopped during the night, there was a window but it was locked shut so not a great nights sleep. If these hotels want to save on electric please let us open a window. We wouldn't stay in the summer months due to this reason alone. Convenient for parking, shopping and eating and good value for money."

"The room was clean and spacious . We had a room with threes single beds and a little table and chairs. The shower room was nice. There was no reception there was lock boxes to pick up key cards from for the rooms. The price was really reasonable. The beds were very comfortable "

"The room was clean, and a great location in Southsea. A few small issues: the TV stopped working on our last morning, the bath had not been used and the water ran yellow, but the shower was fine. A cloth to do the washing up would have been of use. Overall the room was a great base for our weekend away."
