"We were staying at Q8 for The Great South Run and the staff at Q8 could not have been more helpful! I emailed in advance to see if there would be a fridge available to keep our breakfast to have before the run and they responded within an hour to confirm they would sort this for us and we could use the fridge in the lounge area. On the day of the run the weather was awful so we asked if there was anyone coming into our room and if not whether we could pop back for a shower after the run before...

"Gorgeous hotel with lovely, polite & enthusiastic staff! We were upgraded to a fabulous suite & the parking options were great. We loved this unique boutique hotel which has been decorated & designed with care & passion. Local transport was brilliant & Southsea is a hidden blossoming gem which we’ll be back to see next year! "property just down rd from the hard. Hard to find without prior knowledge. Entry was difficult becuase the entry system at first took a lot of doing. It is on a safe system that needs imput from the owners and a no to get the small safe to drop and reveal the key to apt. Not able to get TV or internet until landlady came on sun morning. Phone conversation was not good at all. Frequently breaking down when asking questions. No instructions at all in apt to get started. No hot water...
