"The staff were very friendly! The location is perfect to walk around the city for sure. We thought the bed would be uncomfortable when we felt the mattress but it was surprisingly very comfortable. The only complaint we have is the parking and the burning smell outside. Either from the fireplace on the ground floor or the coffee house next door. We had to park in a car park that was a long walk with a lot of luggage. Which wasn’t fun at all. But overall, it was a great hotel and would definitely...

"The room was quiet, clean, spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was large, impeccably clean, with a separate tub and shower and enormous, warm bath towels. There was a foyer with a door that prevented any noise from the hall getting through to the room. The breakfast and breakfast service was first rate. The front desk was friendly and very helpful. "

"I stayed here for 6 nights. This property has many attractive features. It is a 1 min walk from the Picardy tram stop for the airport tram. It is a short 10 min walk to waverly train station. Also close walk to old town and the royal mile. Good proximity to restaurants and attractions. We walked to Leith but the tram goes right there. I walked everywhere. The apartments have great kitchens and w/d. the location is down a quiet lane so away from busy streets. I was on the side facing a pub but...

My only suggestion would be to provide more surface space in the tiny bathroom. Also, there was a live musician the evening we were there in the lobby/ lounge area- such an unexpected treat!"
