The Edge Hotel in Washington Heights had great rates and reviews so we booked it. As mentioned in most reviews, it's very convenient to the subway. "Arriving to the property was very sketchy. Did not know it smack dead in the hood and drug infested area. Once you get settled in your room you’re fine. But, once you step outside just have your uber outside or go straight to the train. Especially if you’re not used to that type of environment."
