"The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was decent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. One of our ground floor rooms was next to the car park which was a little disconcerting, but not noisy, so that was a relief. There was a strong smell of air freshener which should not be needed if the room is cleaned properly. One of our room was still not ready at 16.00 for check in. "This is a very tired property. The carpets are tired. The rooms are tired. The facilities are tired. The food is tired - if that is possible. And all the staff seem tired. I wasn’t expecting the world but this is the sort of tired place best skipped if other options exist. And when it comes to food, you MUST find other options."

"Pulling up and parking at the property was probably a good indication of what to expect. It was very untidy in this area. Reception was good but our room was not what I expected. It was very disappointing and I made this known to the Manager at Reception. He advised this was the room that I booked but I would not have booked a room like this.
