"I loved this hotel!! It was 5 minutes away from the center of town, clean, modern, had a pullout couch and a table for three and a nice balcony. There are fridges in the rooms as well as coffeemaker and safe. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It was a nice basic facility that doesn’t pretend that it’s some luxury hotel. The room and bathrooms are large. There are even hot tubs you can use. Check in was easy via email. Best value for Iceland"

"Booked a private room with shared bathroom at the hostel. I arrived very late but had received the self check in instructions via email. All was good and I was able to get to my room without incident. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The communal washing area and toilets were close which was helpful. "We were extremely satisfied with our stay here. This guesthouse had flexible check-in, a spacious and welcoming room, cozy beds, and a nice clean bathroom. We were also provided breakfast the next morning which is always a wonderful touch. All in all, this place is well worth the stay (and conveniently located near Akureyri on the ring road)"
