Unfortunately, the tech let the whole experience down. The WiFi wasn't working, which meant the TV didn't work either. The Bluetooth-controlled lighting was vague and unintuitive to operate. We stayed in a family room (a suite) with the sofa turned into a bed for our daughter, don't think of this as an old style sofa bed, this was as comfy as our bed, which was very comfy. "Booked a king room executive for £199.00 over 6 months in advance. On check in at 2 pm they told me I had been downgraded to the same room, but one floor lower and the rate had been reduced £20.00. No problem. On arriving at room it had only a double bed. Not happy. Told hotel was sold out. Only solution was to refund my stay and I could go elsewhere. On a night the city is sold out. Deal agent claimed she did not know the hotels in area all sold out. Laughable. Complained to duty...
