Hotel dekat Swope Park

"The only good thing about this hotel is the location if you are going to a sporting event. If you generally like Holiday Inn Express, lower your expectations. Old, outdated and in need of major renovation. I think it was clean but it was hard to tell from how old everything was. Carpet looks to be from the 80s, and not in a cool vintage way. The blow dryer in the room was rusted, the shower had broken off shelves, there were paint splatters on the walls and it was definitely not Dove products...

"The Fontaine is a very chic hotel walking distance to the Plaza. The rooftop pool is a great place to spend a day and staff were super friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the rooms could use some maintenance. Our bathroom door was broken upon arrival (but quickly fixed, just seemed like a common occurrence), and the toilet flushing created a loud and long grinding sound. We lost something we were looking under beds/cabinets for and noticed a lot of dust and debris. But otherwise the beds...

"Lovely room with a great view. Staff is excellent. Location is absolutely perfect: There's a streetcar stop directly outside that drops you off at the Plaza on one end and tons of other attractions on the other end — Union Station, World War I Memorial, much more. Westport restaurants are very close by. CONS: The food is vastly overpriced and middling at best. The breakfast buffet is currently $25 per person and the food is not better than you'd get at any breakfast buffet. I don't mind paying...

"Adorable little hotel, only about a dozen rooms and unstaffed but quiet and discreet. Rooms are sheik and the beds are fantastic (like really comfortable). Probably the best part is the location, just a few miles from Union Station, the Jazz District, downtown and the WW1 museum with a great coffee shop across the street."

"They did not specify on the website that you had to pay 30 for parking one night and their pool was not working. The whole reason why I picked this place vs the one Hampton up the street"

"Allowed us to check in early. Staff were all amazing. Room was clean. Only issue was that the room smelled like marijuana so bad it gave us a headache. It dissipated after awhile, but wasn’t the best smell walking into the room for the first time. Everything else was fantastic! I’d stay here again."

"The indoor-outdoor pool was too cold for us, so we enjoyed the hot tub instead. The room was clean, and the hotel was fairly quiet. Because of food allergies, we did not have the breakfast or complimentary drinks/food in the evening. The only complaint would be that only one elevator was running, and it was pretty packed."
