"the room was ok and clean, but rhey do abuse of the clean products wirh heavy smell... after awhile, the smell was gone (or i got use to). I am very disappointed that the parking is not included... it is just silly not to put the total price. the room have one light off, which never was fixed even we report it since our first night. the bar is small and ok for a relax moment. overall, these area is overprice... insuppose universal studios is a hidden price to pay."

"The facility looked really old. In the room, the wall paper was peeling and the carpet looked so well worn; not necessarily dirty but also not clean so I decided to not take my crocs off the whole time in there. I also wasn’t sure about the bathtub— everything about the bathroom felt dingy— so I wore my crocs while showering too. Corners of the bathroom needed a good scrub and dusting. The bed looked clean and it was comfortable. The staff weren’t rude but they weren’t nice either. It was affordable and close to tourist things."

"My fiancé and I came and stayed for 2 nights while on a trip to universal studios. We got a season pass so we are trying to find a reliable hotel we can stay at whenever we come. Unfortunately our experience with the sojourn wasn’t great. For starters, the person who checked us in spoke like he didn’t want to be there or something I’m not sure, he just didn’t talk very professionally to us. Then, the room was okay, but not decorated the way they show in the photos, the only “retro” decor was a couple small pictures and two chairs. There is about a 2 inch gap under the front door, and the bathroom window didn’t lock or have a screen, it just slides open. Neither of our room keys worked after only one night. The shower was also extremely small. My fiancé is a plus size woman but she’s not huge, she’s about 260lbs, but she couldn’t comfortably shower in there shower. The toilet paper roll is also placed way too low and pushed against my leg the whole time I tried to use the bathroom and I ended up having to remove the roll to use it. There was also hardly any light in the room despite having multiple lamps and the walls were super thin. Just not a great stay overall."
