"The hotel is in the "NoMad" district of Manhattan, across the street from the 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar (which is definitely worth a visit while you're there!). We found it easy to get around from this location, and it was much quieter than the Times Square area. The room was small but clean, and we could see the Empire State Building from our window, which was delightful! Unfortunately there is no restaurant, food options, bar, or gym, but we knew that before booking! We still had a great time,...

"Lovely quiet room and super comfortable bed. Spacious with lovely bathroom and toiletries. Well located with subway around the corner and lots of good restaurants nearby. Basement restaurant Delano was superb for our first night - really good food and vibes. Coffee available on tap in the morning from self service in the bar which was ok. Coffee shop always really busy so didn’t use. Only had wine included in the ‘resort charge’ once. Not worth bothering with. "

"I liked the hotel and the staff. Location was perfect. I had dessert at the restaurant and enjoyed it. Two negatives: 1: the gym looked good but was horribly smelly- a water problem. Unusable for my partner and I. 2: the room was called a suite but the extra space was a slender alcove - barely large enough for a suitcase. It’s essentially a single room"

She followed through on the details and kindness to our needs. Above our expectations. Thank-you! The Kimpton properties are pleasant We also enjoyed the restaurants of the hotel. Same pleasantries and professionalism .They also accommodated visitors and patrons who were not Hotel Guest. Overall a most pleasant stay. "

"Excellent hotel, the staff are superb and the rooms are lovely (on the small side, but this is expected in New York). Location is ideal, I walked almost everywhere but there is a subway station nearby too. My only slight downside was the sauna needing to be requested to be turned on, but once you know this is the process it’s fine and it’s easy to message and request 20-30mins ahead of when you want to use it. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Room was clean, staff was friendly. I booked this hotel because it has a rooftop bar/club, however, when I arrived I was told it was closed. This should be indicated somewhere on the website or Expedia to let customers know."

"The breakfast was fresh but didn’t have much variety day to day. The rooms were clean but a bit dated. The lamps had to be turned on individually and there wasn’t an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The location is great and the rooftop bar is amazing with great views. Would definitely come back if needed to come back to NYC"

"Fantastic location. I was impressed by the comfort of the rooms, while small it had everything needed. I'm glad there were comfy beds. Coffee maker provided and that's a big plus! Was able to walk to Times Square, Union Square, Flat Iron building, Bryant Park and a few other places. Public transportation is close by. I definitely would stay there again. "
