"The staff is not as helpful beyond the check in and checkout process. I’ve stayed at a few APAs and this location was challenging in comparison. Also no one in Japan can reach them. The phone number would repeated end in an empty dial tone. We had Yamato employees as well as airline employees dial so it was not a tourist issue. "

"The spa area is excellent with compact but very great variety of bath types, one so amazingly hot, and a sauna. For the well-beaten tourist path on the east side of Tokyo I would recommend but not more than a couple nights as travel to the west side is not easy nor quick. The location is pretty intense close to Sensoji temple but at least 6-8 minute walk from each station through croweded area and there are no direct trains unless going close by. The breakfast, which is expensive, is not worth it. Pros: - nice and quiet at night - spacious rooms - very quaint feeling hotel with a lot of nice touches (manga room, free wash laundry, snacks) - spa is one of the best Cons: - inconvenient to use as travel base except for immediate area - food, breakfast buffet, is neither of quality or variety- skip "

"Highly recommend this hotel. It is in a nice area, close to Senso-Ji temple, transit, lots of shops and restaurants. There is a nice terrace where you can take pictures of the temple and Tokyo Skytree. The buffet breakfast was excellent-Asian and Western. Free coffee in the lobby. The staff was kind and helpful. "

"Fantastic location for starters. So easy to get to most major stations. The view is incredible. Our room was always cleaned when we asked for it. The staff were always accomodating and had an easy to access laundry. We were there for 3 weeks and would easily go back again. "

"Minn Asakusa kappabashi was a great place to stay. The location was perfect walking distance to public transportation, shopping/dinning, and attractions. Checking in and out was easy and the hotel was very clean. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay."

"Loved the location. Within walking distance to Senso-ji, Asakusa Metro station (for Ginza line and Asakusa line), Sumida Riverside Park, and even Tokyo Skytree Tower. Lots of eateries and shops around the neighbourhood. Room size wise is good. Staffs all very helpful and courteous. Enjoyed staying in the hotel for 11 days while exploring Tokyo."

"Everything was fantastic except….we had a room on the premium level. Floor 10. There is a lounge there that serves juice, tea and coffee with some sweet snacks. the unfortunate part about the lounge was, no food brought in or out. No drinks in or out. If you wanted to have a nice glass of wine at the end of the day it’s not possible. It’s such a missed opportunity what could be a great lounge! "
