"The room itself was very nice, and the host was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived, it felt as though the property was closed, which was a little strange. Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure. Had we been staying longer, I’m confident the host would have tried to resolve this. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress would benefit from an upgrade or the addition of a topper. "This used to be my school until 1982 and it has been lovingly restored into a beautiful hotel with great amenities in amazing grounds. Ample parking and a safe environment leads to a peaceful and relaxing stay. "

Lovely breakfast and enjoyable but only feedback would be that a few more options on the continental breakfast would have been nice. And coffee machine made warm coffee not hot. Overall I would definitely stay again, staff were so nice and our room was just amazing. Loved this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back to stay again. "

"I have stayed here before but always had a room overlooking the car park. This time I was on the other side and unfortunately the constant road noise did not make for a good nights sleep. The telly was also not working in the room but by the time I noticed I was already ready for bed so left it until the morning to let staff know."

"Friendly staff that couldn’t do enough to accommodate. I stayed while working nightshifts and they would organise to service the room outside of normal hours always checking if I needed towels tea coffee etc. I have stayed multiple times and will definitely stay again "

"Great fresh and clean facility that felt modern. Bar area and restaurant for breakfast was great, good options, well maintained and staff really helpful. Do have to pay for parking though which we didn’t realise."
