"We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. The room was spacious, very clean, soft towels, and COMFORTABLE BED, good size shower, great shower head pressure, 2 pillow types to choose from, LOVELY decor and "peace and quiet" only 2 miles from downtown. "Very nice B&B near downtown Gettysburg. Very nice welcome from staff - we got there a bit late in afternoon or early evening after excessive traffic coming from Philadelphia - both rush hour and construction.
Room, bed and amenities very nice and comfortable. Gas fireplace in room.
Room located in different building from main office. One on flight of stairs then 2 smaller flights to room. Room was spacious and very clean.
Located on the main road into and out of Gettysburg so rather noisy at...

"This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. "Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."
