"We usually love this b&B but found it a little run down this time. Things broken in room, bed very squeaky, noisy room next to kitchen,marks and cobwebs around so a little disappointed.
Staff very friendly, breakfast is wonderful very good choice.
Parking spaces are few and you can't park on the road outside.
Around 20 mins walk down to lake and same up to town."

"Fantastic central location in Bowness - an abundance of shops and restaurants are on the doorstep, and the jetty is a just a short walk away. The allocated parking is a huge benefit. The garden outside the property is absolutely stunning, and the room was spacious, spotless, comfortable and full of charming character (the Puddle-Ducks theme was a lovely touch). The morning breakfast hamper with breads, fruit, yogurt, and juice was really nice too. Highly recommended"

"The hotel was very well located with easy access to the centre of Ambleside, our room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was very high quality and delicious, and our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We’ll definitely stay there again, and happy to recommend it!"

"Staying at Cedar Manor was a dream. The room
was clean, cozy with enough space for our needs. Coffee & tea corner with mini refrigerator too. The most comfortable beds of any other hotel! Breakfast was excellent and even customized for my pescatarian son. The grounds are impeccably and beautifully kept. Can’t wait to go back next year."
