"In Cascais, this is perfectly located. 5 mins walk to the city center for all the restaurants and shops but just around the corner where this is private and quiet. Also had to beat is that this sits across a park on one side, and then a walled fortress in front where the area has been converted to contain some specialty shops within a plaza. The staff are great, the area safe, and the breakfast and pastries were a delight!"

"What a lovely place to stay in Cascais! The staff were friendly, attentive, and responsive to our needs. The room was on the smaller side, but did not feel cramped and was well-maintained. Breakfasts are fresh, tasty, and always include fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, pastries/baked goods, juices and a menu of benedicts, avocado toast (with mango!), pancakes, etc. Margarida deserves special mention for her friendliness and great sense of humor!"

The hotel is properly position, close to everything you need but far enough so you are not bother by noise and crowd of people. The staff is amazing and the hotel speaks for itself. "We had a fabulous 2 night stay. We took the train from Lisbon and it was right above the station which was very convenient. It was a 15 min walk or so from Cascais which we appreciated because it was less touristy and quiet. The staff was friendly and it was easy to get around with uber. The pool is lovely and not crowded. It’s only 59 rooms so it felt cozier. Would definitely stay again."

"Well we stayed at the Pergola boutique due to issues at thier sister boutique. Last minute they arranged our room and everyone was fantastic. Best hospitality we have ever received at short notice . "We walked by and saw the pool deck and outside bar area, and it looked like a scenic, quiet place for us as a couple. It was! The room was very cool - unique architecture with roof beams. Breakfast was included and was amazing. Buffet or a la Carte. "

Suggest you get a car because its not a very walkable area close to a lot, but there is a grocery store within 10 minute walk and a couple of very good restaurants, however you can spend 3-4€ with BOLT or UBER and you’re at Cascais Train...
