"When we arrived, front desk let us in a bit early, appreciated. Reception informed us a few things; one was 6 beach towels are in our room and we get 2 bottles of water daily. However, only 4 towels in the room and I had to ask 3 times for the missing towels. Note, there is a sign on the hotel room wall with prices for everything someone might break or steal. I had to get the 2 missing towels even if I didn't need them. No water was brought to our room during our stay. We had our own so it wasn't a big deal, but why promise it and not follow through??
The restaurants, (2 were open but one being renovated, not disclosed when we reserved room) had really good food, good portions and not too pricey.
Bartender Sidney is friendly and attentive as was all bartenders. And
kudos to Charlie who waited on us at the Italian restaurant,(and was at the coffee counter) for excellent service and good conversation. Nice man.
We'll stay at Lani Kai again. Any negative comments are for honest review only. Still a great place to stay."
