"I liked that it was convenient and had a cool bar. Something about the antiquity inspired me. I didn’t like that the rooms had no air conditioning controls, no coffee makers and slow… hold the handle to flush potties. The one staff person I met was nice at check in but no staff present at checkout or any other time that I could see."

"Richie at the front desk is the best. We arrived a day early and he found a way to accommodate us even though they were fully booked. The lady at the breakfast area was incredible. She keeps everything so clean and organized. Looking forward to booking again."

"I can't say enough about the Tropical Resort and Marina, The guy at check-in is always so nice and helpful, the cleaning staff is great, their property is always clean and attended, the pool is perfect. Like I said form check-in to check out is always just so easy. They usually have Live Music and Food Truck on the week-ends which is a plus. All in all 5 *"

"We stayed one night and enjoyed this hotel. The lady who checked us in (8/7/26) was very sweet and helpful. Only complaint is I could not get her to speak up, even after telling her I was severely hearing impaired, even with my devices. That was frustrating. She was running around cleaning the floors and keeping everything neat, in-between check-ins (we sat downstairs to play cards). Our room was clean, shower was nice and beds were very comfy. "During a rainstorm water was coming into the room near the AC/Heat unit. Carpet soaked 2-3 feet in front of unit. Coffee maker was broken and water ran all over desk while brewing. Room had “musty” smell and A/C just could not keep the humidity down. Actual room temp would not go below 82°. Staff was great, parking good, quiet room, bathroom vey nice."
