"A lovely stay at Spring Gsrden. They are having some renovations done on ground floor so ignore the review regarding the boarded up windows, if the person had asked they’d have found a lovely owner who is very friendly and can’t do enough to help if needed. It’s a listed building from 1840 with loads of history so any changes take time. I’m so pleased I took time to have a chat with the owner who is very passionate about the area. The bar and pool table are no longer at the property, not a big loss for me personally and means one more room available to book in future. Room was nice size and for the price you really cannot complain. Thank you and I will be back! "

"This was a brilliant stop over place on our long journey, clean, private and a relief from the car, setting upright for hours! I would definite recommend it. They had coffee and teas and microwave for quick meals be brought from lldil 10mins away. With a dining section opposite the TV, I was grateful after the long drive to just sit there with our TV meals!"

"We recently stayed for 2 nights Friday-Sunday as we were attending a family wedding on Saturday. Checked in to the hotel at 8.50 and had a dinner reservation at 9. Upon going to our room at about 11 we noticed a letter from the hotel on the bed. Apparently their new policy is not to service the room for stays of more than one night unless they are asked. However you have to let them know by 10 the night before. As we were an hour late I telephoned reception but there was no answer. The following morning before breakfast we went to reception to ask for our room to be serviced sometime that day. We explained that we would be out from midday to midnight.
