"Beautiful!!! Will be back again!"

"Everything about the place was a fail. We stayed at the hotel to attend a funeral. We wanted to rest beforehand, but there was some sort of drilling going on reverberating through the entire hotel all afternoon. Not much worked in the room. The tv got only half the stations it was supposed to. The iron worked sporadically. The shower didn’t drain. To complain to the front desk was futile. The number was either busy or you’d get disconnected. Parking validation didn’t work. I’d suggest...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites, Bethesda. The hotel lobby is inviting, the rooms spacious and clean. Check in and out was easy. Breakfast was excellent. There were many food choices and all staff was friendly and efficient."

"This location is convenient for me so I do stay here often, however, I've noticed on multiple occasions that the fitted bed sheets do not fit properly and often slide off and it is impossible for me to try and pull it back on. Housekeeping comes once every other day and is supposed to make the bed, replace towels, empty garbage but on this visit they came and did everything but make the bed. Maybe because they didn't want to fight with the ill fitting fitted sheet either."

"I have stayed in Marriott hotels for more than 30 years and without a doubt this was my worst experience. My wife and I arrived in DC and I went straight to a business meeting and sent her to the hotel. She recently had surgery and needed to relax. The hotel manager would not let her check in under my name. I called and he said Zi had to be there in person. I offered to zoom or FaceTime with my license and he said no go. Beyond ridiculous that I can close on a house and testify in Federal court...

"The location was great. Close to restaurants, whole foods and the embassies. When I arrived I was notified I would have two double beds not the king I booked. Also, the parking was pricier than listed on Expedia.. This hotels walls are pretty thin. Additionally, the bed I had squeaked loud just by adjusting sleeping potions and very much needed repaired- my husband’s bed was fine. I weigh 135. "Literally home away from home! This hostel/hotel is made up of three converted walk-ups. There are hostel-style rooms with multiple beds, and there are hotel-style rooms with bed and full bathroom. The room I stayed in had a very tall window that could be opened. Logistically speaking: there is a Safeway within a few blocks that’s open late. "I did not have a car with me. The metro station was farther than I thought it would be but was fine during the day. I wouldn’t recommend walking back alone as a female. I took a Lyft car, which is fine, but I spent more money than I thought I would. But overall this is a very nice place, very clean. I would definitely recommend it. The staff were also very nice. "
