"Great spot, Ed at the front desk was flexible, helpful, and personable—and allowed us to both check in early and check out late. There's an elevator, which we didn't expect (but appreciated). Fun neighborhood, less than 10 mins to the gorgeous views at Dolores Park, multiple excellent espressos and coffee within 10 mins, brunch at the Wooden Spoon down the street was fantastic. Basic amenities but really cute retro spot. Highly recommend."

"It felt like a boarding house. No common area to sit on a couch and relax. Our window opened onto an air shaft and no view. Neighborhood parking is nonexistent so only stay if using Uber. The bed and bath were clean. However I would not stay there again."

"I have stayed in SF numerous times and this hotel is by far my favorite. It was clean, the decor is so well done, and the staff was so pleasant and accommodating. I will be recommending this hotel to anyone looking to stay in SF. The only con is the surrounding area is not great (a lot of police activity, a lbut that can be said for a lot of SF."

"The Perramont is in a great location close to the Castro and just steps from Muni which made getting around easy. I really appreciated the daily maid service having fresh towels and the bed made each day was awesome. The showers and bathrooms were cleaned regularly, and although there was some remodeling happening (which meant fewer bathrooms available on the floor), everything was well maintained. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a desk that made it easy for me to...

If you can get past the homeless people outside (they didn't bother us) and the general filth of the tenderloin district then this hotel is great. "
