"Lovely stay at Holly Lodge. Very comfortable accommodation and excellent breakfast."

Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. "

"Decor is rather dated. We didn't mind too much. TV. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Complimentary bottles of water,tea/coffee bags, biscuits replenished every day. "Lovely pub hotel, just outside Holt. Good parking, nice room and an excellent restaurant. The staff were very nice and friendly."

"Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

"Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there. The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.  We had several issues regarding the room. "All areas very clean and tidy, lovely comfy bed with new cotton linens and towels. We stayed in room 8, perfectly clean and comfortable, rooftop view of next-door along with pigeons but that can't be helped, bit of a steep stair climb to top floor, but ok for us, good selection for continental breakfast, perfect location and parking opposite to explore wells, we stayed the 1 night but would stay again if exploring other locations nearby"
