"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. "I had an overnight stay that was planned last min. I originally planned to stay two nights but realized that it was just not for me - ( I had originally came from the popular tourist area and needed to backfill two nights ) although they realized it was just not my style both hosts went above and beyond to accommodate me as much as possible and even worked to get me a refund for the next night - the place is lovely and quiet and perfect for anyone looking for just that!
