"We had an early morning flight, so we opted to stay in Detroit and dine at the hotel. The hotel’s a cool remodeled fire house and bank , the location was conveniently situated just off the highway. The staff was exceptional, and the food was really good. What more could I possibly want?! Additionally, as a platinum member at Expedia , I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated."

"Love this place! Our flight was modified and we arrived much earlier than the usual check in time. They tried to get us a room asap, but had been sold out the night before. So we just had to nap on the lobby sofas until our room was ready. And as soon as it was, they immediately checked us in. Such a fun hotel Art Deco style and the history of the building before is really awesome. This hotel is fun, clean and quiet. To return to Detroit, this will be my top selection."

"Pretty out-of-date hotel. It’s totally a “me” thing but I forgot a square to plug into the wall for my phone cord. Most hotels have USB ports available for charging. This one didn’t. The room was small and very basic. There was a purple stain on the bedding and there was a contact case under the stool in front of the TV. Just small things that could have made it better. "It was a good experience overall with a perk of free parking for hotel guests! The front concierge were amazing and helpful When we booked separate reservations when asked if we could be on the same floor they were great! I can’t recall their name but it was a nice African American girl that had blue nails at the time. Super helpful and friendly"

"The room was clean, having a nice operating kitchen was a great touch. I had no idea the queen bed was inside of its own decently sized bedroom I really liked that. Sofa bed put in some work too."
