"We checked in late and were given a room on the 7th floor which is not served by the main lifts but by a conveluted walk along the 6th floor corridor and stair to the 7th floor. The room had a dog basket and two bowls on the floor from the previous Tennant. Both of these issues should have been made clear to me during reservation/check in. The air conditioning was the quietest I have ever experienced."

Our room and bathroom were not huge but more than adequate and comfortable. The theming of the rooms, corridors, stairways and bar area is amazing, thoughtful, creative and makes this hotel worth a stay for sure, as does the cheeky nature and sense of humour. "I mistakenly booked our room for Monday through Friday so I had to add Sunday night to our booking. Unbeknownst to me, I booked a different room. In lieu of dragging our luggage to a different room, we decided to stay where we were ( in the basement). That was a big mistake because we began to smell a strong odor of mold. When I asked to switch to our original room, I was told it was no longer available. The manager on duty said he would send someone to fix it, but mold is not something that...

My room was called Indulgence, and I was lucky to have a view, with large windows, of the sea and the small park outside. This proved to be extra useful as I wasn't feeling well one of the days and spent it fully in the room.
