"Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. "

"Everything was fine, just one niggle, the bed was in need of a mattress topper as I could feel the mattress springs digging into my back! The facilities and spa treatments were excellent, and I’d like to return for another mini break. Great location, handy for city visits on foot, with nearby pubs and restaurants."

"When we got there it turned out it was wrong hotel in grassington it was for the same hotel but in Cheshire. Same photo on advert just different area , staff there said it happens a lot. Very disappointed that this happens on a daily basis. This also happend to two of our friends who stayed here on same day and they ended up paying extra 100.00 for another room . Some investment has clearly gone into the rooms too (new taps etc.), but they don’t feel finished to the same standard.
