"We had stayed at this location and loved it. This time we stayed in a room that had a room above us. It was a little noisy, bed made a lot of noise, room needed some repairs and paint. Room was not up to previous standards. I would stayed again and request a different room. Great location, staff and they keep it clean."

"The room was very spacious and included a kitchen, which was exactly what we were looking for. The bed was very comfortable, and the fireplace was a nice feature, especially since a storm came in and the weather was cooler. The windows and patio faced residential homes, and the area was very quiet, which we appreciated. There were some operational and maintenance issues. The televisions were difficult to use, as the channels could not be changed easily. The manager on duty replaced a missing...

"Room was relatively clean. Some mold around the tub. Room had coffee cups but no coffee maker. Had to ask for one from front desk. This was case for two rooms. One room did not have enough towels for two people. Front desk staff was excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast did not look inviting. We ate elsewhere. If room faces Lighthouse St, there will be music from Lucy’s across the street for a couple hours. We enjoyed it. Walk to ocean was close and enjoyable."

"I've been coming to the sea breeze for years. It's a place I can count on as far as quality.But my one gripe is when they " Renovated" a few years ago, they took most of the charm of the old construction. I imagine the place was built in the forties , maybe even earlier. The furniture was nicer in the rooms, yes older but now the interiors have the feel of a big anonymous hotel. Ikea like shelving instead of drawers. No lighting over the desk and an office chair. I don't come to the sea breeze...

"Wonderfully convenient, walk to shops, the aquarium, and the beach. The staff could not have been kinder and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait till we return!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Olympia Lodge. The location was especially good. We were close to attractions in Monterey and Pacific Grove. We were a very short drive to the downtown of Pacific Grove and many restaurants. One challenge was parking in the hotel lot. There was not enough space and it did fill up. The room was comfortable and clean. It did seem to have had some updates although it was not a new building. We would stay again. "
