"The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was offered tea brought to my room on arrival. The bar was closed for one night of my stay, but I was advised the day beforehand. "I found hotel a bit grubby. Breakfast selection was good, but was cold. Middle of afternoon I was in my room and a staff member let themselves in. No knock to warn me. I was told by reception that staff are entitled to enter rooms and to put up a do not disturb sign. Cleaners had already been. Noisy at night from local club, so didn't sleep well. "We were offered a 3 course meal with a glass of Wine for £25 per person, and an upgrade for £11 this offer came on my phone a couple of days before we arrived. I had both the offers the room was a superior room so much larger with a bath and the meal was also excellent. I will be coming again, as we came to a show at the lyceum and have more shows booked this year. The lyceum is only a 5 minute walk away."

"AVOID! On arrival we got our keys from the keylock which was a simple process. When entering the apartment it completely stunk of cigs and w - as if people had been in there for days smoking. Even aside from the foul smell the place is very run down, lots of marks and stains on the walls etc. The glass hob surface had a large chip/crack on it which you could easily cut yourself of. "I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and welcoming this hotel was. Parking was difficult to find during the day but by the evening there were plenty of spaces. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help me get a travel cot. The bed was comfortable and and curtains near to blackout.
