"We had a lovely 2 nights at the Eaton Oak, The bedroom very well equipped with quality toiletries included. The bed very comfy, no air con but large fan provided which worked very well. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, with lots of smiles, Ant and Laura exceptional. The food was delicious and hot, spoilt for choice. EV chargers an excellent plus and welcome after a long journey. Will definitely be back."

"Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). "Good sized room. Unfortunately, as seen in many other reviews, the aircon was not working properly in the bedrooms. We heard others complaining too. Also a lingering unpleasant smell in one of the two suites we booked, and missing crockery. We have received a partial refund, but this issue really needs to be resolved, as it's clearly been going on for a while."

"Well presented clean room on the ground floor with excellent facilities. Food and drink excellent. Staff were incredibly helpful with any queries, we felt like one of the family. I have never commented on any other survey before this, so must have have made a very big impression ! Thank you and congratulations to your staff Matt our stay with you was wonderful. "Loved the location of this hotel, just a couple of minutes walk from the station so ideal if arriving by train, as we were. Plenty of good cafes, pubs and mini supermarkets close by. Staff were friendly and helpful, couldn't fault them. Cafe on the ground floor was also a bonus, food and drinks fab. Will definitely stay here again."

"Very good staff; nice location; and this hotel has air conditioning. The ‘bad’ is that it’s trying to rebadge itself as ‘City Centre.’ It is not-there is a Premier in city centre and it’s not this one. The breakfast food deal is a nice option."

"The hotel was a very pleasant surprise, with a small but comfortable and spotlessly clean room. The bathroom was very good, again spotless, with lovely towels, and an excellent shower. Breakfast was cooked fresh, with reasonable choice, and very good service by pleasant staff. Indeed, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was free, which with the fairly central location in the city, was a big plus. I'd recommend this hotel without any hesitation."

"Generally the hotel was clean Not enough soap in the bathroom for 2 consecutive nights. Clothing from previous guest left on floor and a piece of furniture had a dirty mark on it that looked like dried on sick."
