"Beautiful property. Very central location. Lovely, romantic courtyard. We did not have a top sheet on our bed during our stay, thought I asked for one, only a duvet. But it was too warm to use a blanket or sheet anyway! Hospitable staff."

"Never saw the pool, the bathroom was so small you could bearly open the door. The bathtub needed to be recaulked. Had mold around the tub. The rooms were very old and looked different than the pictures online. The bar wasn’t open when we needed a drink before 3pm. Just wasn’t impressed at all for the price."

"Beautiful lobby. We enjoyed having a drink at the carousel bar. Only low point was the room. There is an older unrenovated tower and a newer tower. Nothing broken in the older room, but it’s just dated and tired. The counter space in the bathroom is quite small If you’re looking for a nicer experience to match the vibe of the hotel, don’t go for the traditional room. We found the location to be perfect, staff friendly and helpful and the room quiet."

"The haunted hotel was great its walking distance to everything. The lore behind the place is fascinating and we had some paranormal but the ghost seem friendly. The staff are super friendly makes thst worth the stay just on that alone."

"Frenchmen is close to many eating and music venues. Staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We certainly enjoyed our time there. When staying here one should be aware that the building was built in 1860 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. A flight of stairs took us to our room 211. Inside the unit was two story with bathroom on the entry level and a queen bed on a loft reached with 17 stairs. Not handy for a 3 am trip to the toilet. I am 74 years old and get...
