"Very nice staff, clean rooms good location. We had a room “garden” view and it was perfect on the upper floor quieter probably then front. We had a good stay."

"The room is very small. There is no walking space between the bed and the wall in front of it, it's surrounded by wall on three sides. This I could overlook being that New York is very expensive. However, I have stayed at other hotels in similar price range with bigger rooms, better amenities, and better cleanliness. The check-in and check-out is completely done on a computer, there isn't always someone available at the front desk. Everything in the room is operated by ipad: blinds, shades,...

"Loved the staff. Beautiful “swan” room. I had a small room .., the Nook. - loved it….. I ate all the snacks in the mini bar. Hahaha Really good . Just a practical , well thought out space …. Central to cool stuff. Bed was amazing . Food …. Soo good ."

"All went well. We were out most of the time enjoying the city and graduations. Room felt comfortable and accommodating. Staff was cordial. Air conditioning was a little cold could not lower. But overall a good place to stay."

"Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better."

"I arrived to my room and it smelled like an ash tray. The smell was so bad that the attendant they sent up covered his nose and mouth. They sprayed the bathroom and cracked the window open. I had to sleep with my face next to the window all night. It was completely unacceptable to list a room that was that dirty. It was past 1am and I had no choice but to stay. I have not yet heard from management as a follow up, which is the least that could have been done."

"Arrived pretty late to my reservation and the older lady at the front desk made me feel pretty dumb about my reservation and had an attitude while I was checking in. It wasn’t welcoming at all. Then after dragging my heavy bag upstairs with my other guests the key didn’t work. And that happens sometimes but the hospitality just wasn’t there. She had an attitude anytime I asked a question. Even though ai stayed here plenty of time, I doubt I would return. Try Sixty, or Bowery if you’re in that...

"Really nice place. Nice views. Great location - quiet, but quick 10 minute walk to more bustling areas in Greenpoint neighborhood. Much better than staying at a hotel!"

"The staff are all extremely friendly, the hotel is beautiful decorated, and you can’t beat the location. You are directly across from Washington square park and walking distance to so many restaurants, bars, and comedy shows. Hotel also offers an airport shuttle for a flat fee. Hotel rooms are basic but clean. Only down side was the shower. The pressure isn’t great (but maybe that was just our room). Otherwise, we were happy with our stay!"

"We checked in at 2:45 for a 3pm check in and our room was not ready until 4:40 pm. On top of that the elevators in the property do not work and caused us to wait 20-30 minutes every morning. We ended up having to take the stairs multiple times. "
