"I was not really happy with the room I was given. I booked a normal room, but received a room for an impaired person. I was put in room 1. The shower was a wet floor shower, which was not too bad, but the bed was terrible. The mattress had collapsed and I ended up sleeping ( actually I didn't sleep) in a dip, ended up with body aches."

"There isn't anything I liked . The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful even after we complained. The manger was useless and unhelpful. The shower was broken bed side cabinet was also broken . "We enjoyed a lovely evening and overnight stay here. Katie gave us a warm welcome on arrival and she and her team were excellent throughout our stay. There is a clear focus on customer service. Our room (4 -The Aviary) was perfect and had a beautiful bathroom with free standing bath as well as a shower. Our evening meal and breakfast were excellent. We can't fault this place - great for an overnight stay "

"Good evening, firstly I’d like to say that the start of our stay was very welcoming and professional. However just a few things that I’d like to touch on, our bed was dirty, the duvet had a urine stain on it, the hot tub was filthy and had a hose pipe that my partner nearly tripped up on and had to move to a secure place out of harms way. "A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception."

"The room was clean beds comfortable en suite good. Cleaned every day biscuits tea replenished daily. Tha accommodation is on a busy road and many lorries till midnight and again from 5am very noisy if windows open which is necessary as no air conditioning in the room."
