Shinagawa Prince Hotel

8/10 Good

"The convenience of being next to the train station that connects directly to the airport is key to my selection. Plus, it's on the main Yamanote Line and serves as a transfer station to many other great places to visit. The views are fantastic, there's a 7-11 and other useful shops in the hotel, as well as a food court and bowling alley! This is our family's choice of hotels whenever staying in Tokyo."

10/10 Excellent

"This was our second time staying here. The first time was definitely better. There seem to be something going with the a/c in the elevator section, which was weird. The room we got this time had a broken shower head and was not replaced. Also, it was our first encounter with the person over the counter giving a vibe that he just did not want to be there. However, we still love the esthetic of the hotel, the smell, the restaurant, access to the market. And if you are going to be attending the Disney parks, I definitely recommend you stay here, the train station is super near. Besides that you need a taxi or train route everywhere else."

"The staff was wonderful. I would recommend including breakfast as the buffet was excellent. The location was always about a 8-20 min walk to any station. The only somewhat negative is that rooms were really small and the bathroom was as well. Difficult to have 4 people with their suitcases in the room. No where to walk. I lived that they had a refrigerator, hot water maker and good coffee/tea in the room. I’d stay again and just get a larger room or at least a room with an extra bed so I could have a place to put things."

"Staff were so helpful. We were in the east wing so it was a little bit of a hike with laundry but that was fine. You dont need laundry soap it comes with the machine. Centrally located to trains and city life. Breakfast was ok, I wish it rotated the selection because after 4 days of the same stuff I was done with the buffet. For me the beds were too firm, but thats a me problem. Definitely would stay here again"
